£289K raised for GOSH

£289K raised for GOSHWe are very proud to have worked alongside Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity to raise an incredible £289,000.

We’ve been thrilled to support GOSH Charity since 2016 through the sale of our most popular pen, the uni-ball EYE – with 20p from each pen sale going directly to this incredible cause.

Our relationship with GOSH Charity has been incredibly special to us.  With more than 300,000 patient visits every year, Great Ormond Street Hospital is one of the top paediatric research hospitals in the world, treating children from all over the UK and abroad who have very complex and often life-threatening conditions.

Every penny raised through the sale of our bestselling pens and through staff fundraising has helped to support the hospital’s dedicated Play Team,  who design creative activities for children to help aid their treatment and recovery.

Spend any amount of time at GOSH and you’ll soon notice the Play Team; a legion clad in purple and lilac. This colourful crew are dedicated to bringing fun into the hospital and making life as normal as possible for the children who need to be there. The play team provides vital support to families, helping children prepare for procedures, providing distraction and bringing fun and smiles where they can.

The play team also provides innovative strategies to make the child’s experience of hospital as stress-free as possible, helping them find a way to cope and ensuring they don’t miss out on being children.

We look forward to more collaborations with GOSH this year and are delighted to support the all-important work of the Play Team.
